The Registered Nurse (Telephone Care) is accountable to the Nurse Manager in the Call Center and is responsible for collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to achieve maximum quality, patent centered care.

The Telephone Care Registered Nurse provides care and counseling of persons or in the promotion/maintenance of health and prevention of illness and injury based upon the nursing process. The nursing process includes systematic data gathering, assessment, appropriate nursing judgement and evaluation of human responses to actual or potential health problems.
